When we go about our everyday lives, some of us are seated for up to 8 hours a day, some of us are on our feet for up to 8 hours a day and some of us perform repetitive movements all of which can take its toll on our bodies.
Your muscles work hard to hold you in these positions and if we are in these positions constantly, then they will adapt, shorten and remain there becoming what we all know as ‘tight’ with adhesions.
Fixing tight muscles is not only about the massage but the exercise too. That’s why I decided to take a Sports Massage qualification, because it goes hand in hand with exercise and training.
